Introduction
The Coalition of Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations for Elections (CECOE) is launching a project management capacity-building program to strengthen the capabilities of its member organizations. CECOE seeks a qualified project management trainer to deliver targeted training sessions that will enhance project planning, execution, and monitoring skills.
Project Goal
The primary goal of this initiative is to:
- Elevate project management competency within CECOE member organizations by fostering a strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Improve project delivery success rates among CECOE member organizations.
Scope of Services
The selected project management trainer will be responsible for the following:
- Training Design and Delivery:
- Develop training materials encompassing project management fundamentals, methodologies, and practical techniques.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions for participants.
- Tailor training content to address the specific needs and challenges faced by civil society organizations.
- Training Topics:
- Project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Aligning project and organizational strategies
- Risk management, stakeholder engagement, and communication
- Utilizing project management software tools
- Training Format:
- In-person sessions
- A combination of workshops, case studies, role-playing activities, and group exercises
- Duration:
- Two-day training program
- Evaluation and Feedback:
- Conduct a post-training evaluation to assess learning outcomes
Trainer Qualifications and Expertise
CECOE seeks a project management trainer with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of practical project management experience
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Proven experience delivering project management training programs
Reporting and Deliverables
The selected trainer is expected to submit the following:
- Training Materials:
- Training slides
- Handouts
- Supplementary reading materials
- Pre- and Post-Training Assessments
- Final Report:
- Key takeaways from the training
- Recommendations for future improvement
Timeline
The training program is scheduled to be delivered in the last month of April.
